Cadillac Allante Bose Speaker repair kits

Do your Allante speakers do any of the following;

Whistle, snap, crackle, pop, whine, buzz or go on and off at random.

The most likely problem is the capacitors which are prone to failier.

This kit contains all the capacitors for the 4 speakers

detailed instructions for removing the speakers and amplifiers.

You can then solder out the old capacitors and solder in the new ones. Or if you are not good at soldering take the amps and capacitors to your local TV or HiFi repair shop and get them to change them.

In the early models when they fail it is almost always the capacitors, however in later models it can be the fets and drivers which I have not been able to find.

Some people have had success on the later models with only doing the capacitors and I can supply these .

Rebuilt speakers cost about $100 each so even if you only manage to fix one it’s worth it.
